More than 2,500 salon professionals from around the globe gathered in Valencia, Spain recently to celebrate Goldwell education and artistry at the company’s annual Trend Zoom event.
The gala program included the finale of the 2008 Color Challenge competition, with 70 finalists from 26 countries recreating looks from the 2008 Trend Zoom collection, but the highlight was the exciting launch of the new Trend Zoom 2009 Collection. |
| Titled Futuretec, the new collection represents future trends as interpreted by an international team of Goldwell creative stylists and colorists. The looks are grouped in “Virtualist” and “Ecopolitan” designs, all inspired by virtual architecture and ecological awareness. The Ecopolitan world combines urban chic with natural appeal. The Virtualist world is a fusion of modern technology and medieval spirituality. Each is represented by two new creative shades in the Topchic and Colorance assortments. |
| The Virtualist shades (8AS, 9PV) are a mixture of silvery-grey, pastel violet and ice blue with a futuristic metallic effect. The Ecopolitan shades (8GG, 8RP) are a blend of natural elements, fusing intensive earthy browns with brilliant gold and powdery sandalwood. All are available in CosmoProf™ stores this month. |
